The Temple Emek Shalom Religious School provides a joyful and rewarding Jewish educational experience for children, preschool through seventh grade.

At the core of our program is our commitment to provide our children with knowledge of the basic teachings of Torah and the fundamentals of Hebrew; with opportunities to experience the depth and joy of Jewish practice; and with a sense of connection to Judaism and the Jewish people.

Through a variety of activities including text study, prayer, song, observance of mitzvot, art, dance, drama, and cooking, the program that serves all the students in our diverse community.

• Pomegranate Preschool for the Arts - meets four days per week
• Sunday Morning Family Service
• Religious Sunday School, Preschool through B'nai Mitzvah
• Class Shabbat and Havdallah Potluck Dinners
• Bar & Bat Mitzvah preparation, including retreats with Rabbi Marc and Judy Visser, Director of Education and Programs

Family Education sessions are held monthly, where the parents and children learn important aspects of Judaism together, especially how to celebrate Judaism at home and integrate Jewish ethics and practice into everyday life.
